Hello fellow founders,

    I come to express my "grand merci" for such a wonderful founders day we had on Aug. 28. 

I knew it would be good, but I could not have known how good it would be.  Those of you who organized and prepared the day outdid yourselves.  You left nothing out, not even the marsalla!  I don't think anything could have been added to make it better; it was superb.

   

It is obvious to me that Jesus Magister was a great gift to us all and our reunion made that all the more clear.  It was something that entered into the fabric of our lives and it has born good fruit.  I'm sure Bro. Martin did not have a clue what he was offering me, nor did I.  Yet, I have always recognized what a great opportunity it was for me, for us, and now, I realize it all the more.  Little do we realize what graces each moment holds for us.  All the more reason to embrace each moment of life and live it to the full, as I think we did with Jesus Magister.  I remember the meeting we had with Bro. Jules and Alexius on the question: Do you think the Jesus Magister experience is better than the Grand Novitiate.  For all of us, there was no doubt at that time, and I would presume that for all of us, there still is no doubt.  True, the two experience are very different, but if we had to choose again, I know exactly which option would prevail.

    

I thank all of you for that wonderful moment we lived together at Mascarone and for the quality of community we offered each other.  I only wish Bros. Louis-Regis, Louis-Omer and Inocentio could have been with us on Aug. 28, and in a way, I suppose they were.

    

 And so, I repeat my "grand merci," wishing all of you the best at this new "moment."
